Stanley Okoro (born 8 December 1992 in Enugu) is a Nigerian football Midfielder currently playing for KS Skenderbeu Korce in the Albanian Superliga, after a former experience with his homeland club Heartland F.C., and with Almería B .

Career

He began playing football at the National Grammar School Nike in Enugu and signed later for River Lane FC. After two successful years with River Lane FC, he signed for Heartland F.C. of Owerri in February 2008. He is very popular in the Nigerian Local League and often referred to as the Little Messi. He signed for Almeria in summer 2010.[1]. On 26.06.2011, he was bought by KS Skenderbeu Korce president Agim Zeqo, as a valuable player for UEFA Champions League qualifiers. He signed a one year contract with the club.

International career

Okoro played for the Nigeria U-17 team at the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Nigeria,[2] He played the first match in the tournament against Germany and scored the first goal for Nigeria through a penalty kick in the 54 minute.[3] He made his debut for the full Super Eagle squad on September 5, 2010 against Madagascar, coming on as a second half sub for Michael Eneramo
